Paul Somerville is a songwriter, musician and music teacher based in Sydney. He writes wonderful songs for worship and other faith-based gatherings. Paul’s songs “Welcome Me Back Home” which echoes the journey of the prodigal, and “Spirit, Lead Us” can be found in the CMLA songbook “Walk as One”. Paul’s songs combine lyrical depth with great musicality.
Recordings of both of these songs can be found on the Paddington UCA website along with a range of other recordings, including the excellent “In My Father House”. Paul shared this latter song at the first UCA national Songwrite conference in Canberra in 2013.The music for “In My Father’s House” is in “All Together, All Right“. Make sure you listen to “May Our Lives And Our Prayers Be One.”
