Waiting on the World to Change

John Mayer’s song “Waiting on the World to Change” seems like an apt song for Advent. We long and hope for God to bring a change to our troubled world – judgement to oppressors and justice for the oppressed. The Playing for Change project has produced amazing global collaborations over several years. The song offers an invitation to hope that people might live together in peace, just as the video portrays different cultures and religions playing the one song.  Maybe this visual meditation could speak to people in this season.
