The Centre for Music, Liturgy and the Arts is pleased to introduce the Walk as One songbook as individual songs. While many churches and leaders purchase music books, many wonderful songs in the books lie undiscovered. This initiative provides an affordable way for churches to learn and play new music, with or without musicians.

The “Walk as One” songbook was published in 2022. The Individual Song packs provide a way for all churches, including songbook owners, to listen, learn and sing this excellent collection of songs.

For each song, you receive these digital resources

• A copy of the sheet music score from the “Walk as One” songbook (PDF)
• An audio recording of the song (high quality m3)
• A plain Powerpoint file (white text on black)
• A colour Powerpoint file (white text on coloured image)
• A lyric video (audio recording with song lyrics)
• A plain text version of the song lyrics (for inserting into presentation software or printed orders)

IN A CHURCH THAT’S MOVING FORWARD

In a church that’s moving forward,
this is where we long to be.
In a church with gifts abounding
and the grace to set them free.
In a church of many cultures
in a church both old and young,
in a church of many accents
when the song of Christ is sung.

With a Lord who leads the mission
for a people on the way,
with a Lord who’s healing blindness
lets the voiceless have their say;
with a Lord of every nation
with a Lord of every place,
with a Lord who shines compassion
on to every tribe and race.

On a road that leads to wholeness
when we’re broken or unsure,
on a road to understanding,
where division finds a cure;

on a road where many roam,

as we make our journey home.
